Research - Beyond Every Five Minutes
Beyond 'Every Five Minutes', published in November 2007, brought together our two earlier reports and concluded that the response to missing children was still very fragmented and disorganised. It argued that the best remedy would be the creation of a national resource centre, based on the American model of the National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Such a centre would bring together the resources of the police, government, NGOs and the private sector, working together as a united front under one roof.
